Yes! My current hardware target is an obsolete Chromebook I picked up a few years ago from a tech recycler 😁 They wanted $5 but I talked them up to 10.

Hard agree. Governing is like joining the police force - you should only be allowed to do it if you don't want to.

Seeing my kid and his friends roll from one MP game to the next has been pretty eye opening, and it's cool that it's just a context for hanging out. I'd be all into it (and I even did make a multiplayer game) but the ~2x programming cost is huge.

Bonus mention of #gamedev and #indiedev here 'cos in 2014/2015 disingenuous online campaigns tore apart our own communities, we know how bad it can be, and I reckon a lot of us are keen to push back.
