I like the idea of using the limited palette, maybe gonna make it 5 colors vs 4 so I can shade the red with not black, but I otherwise really like the vibe so far!

I've tried a few cobblemon in the past, was fun with friends but it never stuck. I could give it another go with a different pack
As for Pokemon, just a fun fan game really, traditional or unique is fine, as long as it plays well
Also doesn't have to be Pokemon, can be other games too
I'll look into Spirit City though! Sounds cozy
I feel like I'd enjoy Palworld with friends, maybe Minecraft too, but it's hard coordinating my friends to play on a consistent basis heh
I'm also sort of waiting for Palworld to reach 1.0 admittedly, to see how it changes from it's early access build
Also I don't mind a little bit of challenge in my relaxation game as I enjoy "tough-as-nails" games but they require focus/energy I don't always have right now

it's all just art. "porn" is just art that makes you horny, in precisely the way that "horror" is art that makes you scared and "metroidvania" is art that makes you write video essays
Though maybe Yoko Taro will take it in a new direction, who knows, he's also all about plot subversion and making you think about what happened in a new light and changing everything
So I'm sure it'll be good, I just get the feeling it'll be very different from what Eva's intended message
I just don't know what else you would get out of Eva at this point if the whole point was to tell the story of "Actually touch grass" by the end, and they've done that like, three times now in the anime, and I think even did a manga about that
And this is coming from someone whose 2nd favorite movie of all time is Rebuild 2, I could watch that movie any time, any day, right after Rainbow Rocks
But Rebuild 3 loses the plot and Rebuild 4... Well, maybe I would have liked it more if they didn't rush the dub but eh, it's still bad
They're making a new Evangelion? But I thought they told the story they wanted with it
Namely "See all these cool giant robots, aliens, and lore? None of that matters, go outside and enjoy the real world"
Which isn't necessarily bad, but the meta-contextual way they say it is kind of annoying

Nothing wrong with that! Honestly I'd be willing to work with volunteers as well, I've just had a rocky relationship with that in the past
But if someone was willing to contribute art it would help motivate me, and if it made a profit I'd want to share that profit with them, its just not guaranteed
I wonder if there are artists out there that like, would be willing to do an art trade
But instead of art, its "I'll make your game, then you make the art for mine" lol
