I’m going for a more simple, slightly abstract playful kind of look similar to the following.

I am starting to look for an artist to do some art for the upcoming iOS release of Everkin.io. Simple hand drawn style pets of various types. Cats, kittens, dogs, parrots, turtles etc. cozy cute things. If anyone has any references or knows anyone that would be great. I’m vey flexible on style

I got an email about an exciting job opportunity. They used a new phrase I haven’t heard of, “startup pace” which according to them is 9-9. I would rather kill myself than work 9-9 with a bunch of people who try to out grind and hustle each other.

Technically speaking, this is the biggest thing I have worked on. The app is native iOS in Swift. Backend is in Go on postgres. A python API is used for all machine learning processing. Eventually I hope to get to Web and android.

I unfortunately go to the vet multiple times per month, often digging through notes or remember when something happened. When did Ace start having a flair up? Loss of appetite? Stomach issues? Everkin is meant to be the evolving journal, to help you track and give insight into your pets health.

This takes up a lot of mental space, and the apps out there are either too simple, ugly or just out dated. I am bringing a modern flair to this, to make managing pets easier. You can even share across your household or make it easier for caretakers when you are away.

Hey pet lovers, are there any apps you use regularly to track pet health, appointments, paperwork, medication schedule, refills, progress, incidents, etc etc? I have 4 cats all with health issues and it's a lot of work.So I am building something for this. There doesn't seem to be any clear options

Data is stored locally or in iCloud if you have that. Nothing leaves the device. No subscriptions.

I'm in the midst of onboarding users so this is shit timing. But I added Google sso, and migrated to aws ses. Twilio and sendgrid can fuck right off.

I have been using sendgrid for emails in loomgraph.com. Just your basic confirm email, reset password stuff. Sendgrid just cancelled my account and deleted it out of nowhere. I maybe sent 25 emails in a month. So my user reg is broken and I had to scramble to fix everything.

Credits rolling on #Expedition33. Just a phenomenal amazing experience. Soundtrack, story, world design, combat. Did I mention soundtrack? Cause its just fantastic.

My go to language for any new project has usually been python. I tried Go for the first time when I built loomgraph and it's been great. So many less headaches esp compared with python and the async stuff. I think it's my new favorite language although I still need lots of help with syntax sometimes

But I have never been more motivated to succeed even to the smallest degree.

Work decided to RTO us 4 days a week to foster more collaboration. My only way out of this hell is to keep building and creating. I recently started a company and have been full speed ahead. Unfortunately I had to pause any game dev, which sucks. It's really the only passion I have.
