I love how yβall keep making the world better even as most every company and institution around us becomes enshittified.
A tremendous reading!
If you need to find me at AWP, here it is.
Can't stress this enough.
God, three days of having βSomaβ by The Smashing Pumpkins playing on repeat in my brain. Nothing quiets it! Itβs not even the lyrics that are lodged in there so much as it is just that riff.

Full series order.

I have been stressing hard for weeks, but I think... I think... all 1500 books and all the table stuff will fit in my car, with room left over for me, Matt, and our suitcases. That did not feel certain at all!
Today's the day-- my very funny students in ENGL 259 (Improv Comedy Games for Writers) are doing their first public performance. 5 pm, free, Mettlesome Theater. You should go.
Oh, if you're Durham area and want to attend, it's a free performance Saturday at 5 at Mettlesome
Olzmann is such a treasure.

Y'all, this reading is gonna be supreme. Thursday night at AWP.
My UNC students have named their improv team WE ARE PREGNANT and I can imagine that their parents will be very confused when they attend the event.
Most recent poetry read was Amy Gerstler's IS THIS MY FINAL FORM?, which was thoroughly entertaining.
Get it

Did this one time, was stunned to find that by age 42, Wilfred Brimley was a 300-year-old man.
