Can't stress this enough.
God, three days of having “Soma” by The Smashing Pumpkins playing on repeat in my brain. Nothing quiets it! It’s not even the lyrics that are lodged in there so much as it is just that riff.
I’ve been crabby for weeks, prepping for AWP, overwhelmed with administrative stuff. Spent 1.5 hours this morning commenting on student poems & radical progress & it was such a balm.
