Everyone be normal and digest the news for 10s before reacting challenge (impossible)
the other day my friend & i accidentally discovered a bug in a core linkedin system that allows for easy account takeover (immune to precautions like changing password), reported it to their security team & was told it has already been reported (not fixed?) andβ¦ iβm kinda scared to use linkedin now?
thrilled to announce iβm joining the team as blueskyβs new ceo. my top priority will be to make sure that nobody verifies @jcsalterego.bsky.social
Didnβt realize this was built in!
Ah thatβs so nice!
I do think the βgood ideas and good tasteβ moat will shrink faster than people think, but I also think there are some kinds of decisions that humans *should* be the ones to make, regardless of AI *capability*
A large framed wall advertisement for Appian, taglined βthe process company,β in what appears to be an office or conference center hallway. The ad reads βModernize mission systems with AI-powered process technology.β in white text over a dark gray background, with a photo-realistic fighter jet (appears to be an F-16) on the right side. A curved white swoosh graphic connects the text area to a darker semicircle containing the Appian logo at bottom left. Drop ceiling with fluorescent lighting visible reflected in the glass. Commercial carpet tile floor.ββββββββββββββββ
canβt wait to modernize my mission systems with ai-powered process technology
itβs never been a better time to get extremely good at having good ideas and good taste β the barrier to entry for creating has never been lower (podcasting, publishing, filmmaking, coding, etc), but so much of it hinges on ideas and tasteβ¦ both of which are things LLMs are currently horrendous at

just finished this, quite enjoyed it
Like really the best way to get comfortable is ask it the questions you actually have, as dumb feeling as they might be (I do this)
Also, Iβd recommend trying to unlearn habits around pre-synthesis into βsearchableβ terms, just ramble and give it as much context as possible. If you donβt know where to start ask it to help with that and give you step-by-step guidance.
Can also be helpful to start a Claude Project so all convos on a topic will share context. Claude Code (via terminal) or Claude Cowork (basically the same thing but more intuitive) will be even more autonomous but comes with more security risks and you probably donβt want that as youβre acclimating.
I think Iβd need more context on what youβre building but generally speaking, throw all that at Claude Opus 4.6 (or latest made as released) with some basic description of what itβs for and how it should use it (rambling is fine!).
I think you can choose models in there, but yeah Figma Make is pretty frustrating. If youβre looking to see whatβs possible, Iβd recommend using Claude Opus 4.6 for strategy iteration, then working in Cursor (generally with Opus 4.6) for design / interactions with more of control.
What model are you using?
yep, and even better when theyβre evidence-based, project-specific (foundational insights), and include:
- β¦so we might ___________
- β¦and we probably wouldnβt _________

Here are all the lighthouses of the Northern Seas, each light is the right color, each turns or pulses at the right frequency, and is scaled with its brightness. You can also see how far they are visible.
I had Claude Code build this by giving instructions in English: lighthouse-atlas.netlify.app
