An AI text prompt on the custom greetings-card site "moonpig.com" which allows the user to have AI write the contents of card for them. You know, like something a pyschopath would do.

Just came across this on moonpig.com, imagine being so cynical, loveless, and unwilling to engage in any sort of thought you ask AI to write, for *you*, a PERSONALISED GREETINGS CARD.

Anyone who thinks that's acceptable has unsubscribed from humanity. Insane.

I don't mind a local council or city-funded display but I do not get why the average person is able to buy colourful bombs to just fuck about with.

So glad to be done with Guy Fawkes night, spent the whole evening trying to convnce my furry little friend the world wasn't ending. Tbf, was also trying to convince *myself* the world wasn't ending.

But many other comedians were happy to speak out against it. So for the sake of a nice world I hope Bill and some others do some self-reflection and don't just dig their heels in until there is another line separating us from people we used to admire.

On an unrelated note Zack Woods seems nice.

And if there's anyone who will NOT hear the end of it, it's Bill. Taking the rich down a peg has been was his schtick, he's has been my favourite comedian for like 15 years. I'm not into cancelling anyone but the monumental amount of respect I had for him has been replaced with indifference.

I have to get off my chest how heart-breaking it is to watch Omid Djalili and Bill Burr (ol Billy Bloodmoney) rationlise performing for journalist-murdering royalty in Riyadh recently. Money, fame, or both reveals character. Of which there is apparently far less than I thought there was.

The new Dualsense update that lets you swap between 4 devices has been making me UNREASONABLY happy. Nothing gets me going like some tiny little convenience that makes my day 3% less irritating. Pump that shit directly into my veins.

You get one item (as I understand), needed of 5, to upgrade your weapon ONCE. I had to Google I understood it properly because I did not believe a dev would genunily put the player through so much, for so little. The game asks you to climb Everest, and rewards you with a pat on the back.

I think I've found the perfect example that sums up the Silksong experience: there a sidequest to deliver an item half-way across the map, it's on a time-limit, and every time you get hit you lose signifcant time. You can't fast travel. The map is BIG btw. It is VERY difficult. The reward?

Thoughts on Silksong after about 15 hours. The game feels SO good to play, but is not rewarding enough for how punishing it is. Modding the game to remove double damage, increase my damage by 20% and permantly have a compass has helped. But the game is relentless and never rewards you accordingly.

So I agree that people nowadays don't want kids due to unhappiness but narrowing down the issue to "men are shitty without a girlfriend" is a huuuuge miss. Men should feel able to talk with their friend. Without that you get every negative internet stereotype out there.

Men (typically) don't open up to each other about the fundamentally hard parts of their lives like feeling lonely. So when men don't have a partner who does fufil that role they spiral.

Thankfully that's less common but there really is a societal expectation for men not to confide in their friends.

One very important thing this is missing out that makes men sound like absolute children here is men spiral in the absence of romantic relationships *because* they typically don't have an emotional support network with fellow men. Woman will help and listen to each other through all types of trauma.

Anyone else not excited about Naughty Dogs new game, not because they didn't like "The Last of Us 2" but because the social media discourse was so miserable to just associate bad vibes with the company now?

Originally skipped over this in my feed because the name struck me as forgettable, I figured it was some indie game. Watching the trailer: incredible mocap, OST sounds brilliant, but sassy Americans I'm just far too burnt out on.

In a different time a Naughty Dog space game would've blown my mind.
