I am not convinced that the MRFF report is accurate or credible. Please be careful when quoting information that you cannot independently verify.
If that is the only source you have for using the term "Armageddon" then I hesitate to use it.

I've been thinking about this.
I think most white people only like the Dr. King who said I have a dream." They wouldn't like the one who said that unjust laws should be disobeyed. Most certainly don't _know_ that side of MLK.
The words and poetry are great - but I love the action. We need it more.

It was hard going. I admit that I skimmed a lot of the "begats." And I didn't pay much attention to "and then they besieged X and Y was overthrown" - there's a lot of play-by-play in the Old Testament; I read it and immediately forgot it as completely irrelevant.
I just finished rereading the entire Bible. Based on the behavior of the "Christians", I thought I must have forgotten much of the book that I read as a child. Nope, I haven't - but they have!
It says nothing to justify their horrific actions. I guess they neither read their book nor follow it.
We usually can't even answer "how long did the X part of the project take?" which means that the next time some X-adjacent thing comes up in a project, we can't leverage own experience to estimate it more accurately.
There are two enormous problems with estimates: (1) people tend to believe that they are promises and that's simply insane (2) Very, very few people ever do a post-mortem and examine their own estimating progress/failures - therefore we never get better at estimating over time.

The sleeper coach is worth the money. The Coast Starlight is one of the few decent trains in the country. But it is late often enough that you might be really, really happy to have the meal and the place to lie down that is part of the sleeper package.
"Iron laws of the world"? Some of America's most important national accomplishments are about leading humanity away from this kind of bullshit.
If we let ideologues like Stephen Miller drag us back into a world where brute force is all that matters, all of us will be less safe.
It will never get to a trial. In a trial, you have to show evidence, etc. It will be a big spectacle for a while, until the oil companies and mineral companies get the concessions that they want. Then it will all disappear quietly. There will be no regime change and no transparency.

I often think that a remake of "The Truman Show" in real life, starring He Who Cannot Be Shamed, would be awesome. But I wouldn't watch it.
