GO WAYNE
Also draw a 10km radii from Manukau City Centre as well to get double the intensification catchments than just using Auckland City Centre ;)

This is just straight neolib ACT policy dressed up as a Westpac report.
We don't want the Americanisation of our health system. Any public sector woes would be dwarfed by the poverty and poor health privatisation would bring to many AoNZers. Westpac and Seymour can just fuck off with this. #nzpol
How weird because giving the private sector “more scope” in the UK did not work out well - see below headline.
Studies consistently show that private sector involvement in public health leads to poorer health outcomes - RNZ noted this last year:

I forgot to remove the eSim before loading the new OS and, remarkably, it popped up afterwards. So everything works fine. 🤞
Now I just need to figure out how to deal with Google demanding $30/month for a NFP with a personalised domain. I don't f*%king want your stupid Workspaces.
In fix-my-phone news, I reloaded the Google OS on the Pixel 6a last night.
What a mission!!
Anyway, thanks to DroidWin, we got it done.
Thanks Sadique Hassan!
Breweries: please proactively think about your legacy and its future custodians, before it's all scattered by liquidation.
And if you, or someone you know, picked up a Rogue relic over the weekend (or something similar, in a previous sale): get in touch! I'd love to know what has wound up where.
If the health services are underfunded, how are they going to pay for the private sector to "ease the woes"?
Oh, that's right: we pay for them.
Why not tax us a little bit more and fund health services properly?

Can you believe fuel rationing is already starting in Australia! 😯 I fear this oil crisis is going to be big. Really big.
If you need a car, then get a cheap EV now before they're 400% more expensive.
Ōtautahi rumble!

3.1 apparently.
Call me a weirdo, but I reckon the reduction of government would only result in the consolidation of power…in my experience that’s never been a good thing for anyone I know or knew. 🤷♀️ #nzpol #OneTermGovernment
Pixel ftw.
I went from a 6a (battery issues) to a 8 Pro.
It's a lot bigger than the 6a, but still less than $1k secondhand. I never buy new and this is the first time over $500.
Nicola Willis - along with the rest of the National government - has a performance review on 7 November this year. And the choice is pretty simple: either we vote for the ultra-rich, or we vote for ourselves.

Hey folks, you know the Roads of National Significance are ruinously expensive, with extremely poor business cases? That was before oil prices started rising. Factor in fuel costs and these projects just became even more ridiculous.
Just remembering how Luxon bought a new Tesla EV when there was a Clean Car Discount, then cancelled the policy so others couldn't do it, and is now canning the Clean Car Standards and adding a new tax to petrol.
What a guy.

Russian alphabet
Still from video of Floyd writing the Russian alphabet.
Amazing.
Our autistic 6yo grandson got given a blackboard yesterday.
He promptly wrote the entire alphabet out and used all the same size letters, so it all fitted.
Then wrote Grandma & Grandpa.
Tonight he wrote the entire Russian alphabet out.
He has never written anything before.
Gobsmacked!!!
Have you never been to the Afghan Restaurant in Ōtautahi?
Countries that have adopted electric vehicles the fastest will suffer the least from oil price spikes caused by the US/Israel attack on Iran.
NZ is not one of those, thanks to Luxon’s poor leadership.
Good morning & welcome to #Caturday
If today gets difficult try & remember the way sunlight dances on a window, the sound of your favourite person’s laugh, the feeling when a song you love comes on
The colour of the sky at dusk and that we’re here to take care of each other.
Hello Aotearoa business journalists . . . I am keen for a solid article on how we secure our national petroleum supply--petrol and gas--and what that process looks like.
Who negotiates? Who handles shipping? How is the price backstopped to ensure that when prices spike, we still get what we need?
Like clockwork.
Russia is providing Iran intelligence to target U.S. forces, officials say The targeting information has included the locations of American warships and aircraft in the Middle East, the officials said.
Pete Hegseth declared “we will hunt down and kill anyone killing” USians.
Now it is revealed Russia is hunting down and helping kill USians.
By the standards set by the current White House the US should be going to war with Russia and striking them, “we r lethal” 🤡.
They've been talking to each other on the phone (even though they're not allowed to).
Chloe doing alright.

Will he last the weekend?
Goneburger.
Just a question of when.

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon 'absolutely not' considering standing down www.rnz.co.nz/news/politic...
Try asking your local council if they have any going spare. Usually they give them to "social initiatives" so maybe ask via the school?
28%?
That means 72% of the country don't like ya.
Almost like they've lost their mandate to govern...
