Bad translation here - obviously it wasn’t a “flying bomb” (a VI/ doodlebug/ precursor of the cruise missile type of munition) because we didn’t use them. The German will have been “Fliegerbombe”, which means “bomb dropped by plane”, as opposed to a parachute mine.
