It's not gone unnoticed by local people that as Wimborne has launched it's town of culture 2026, the courses that have been affected are arts and culture courses. There was much discussion about this at the launch event where one of the performances was from a band formed at QE!

Every new disappointment makes me glad I gave up my 25+ years membership early last year and joined the greens. I did not vote for KS in the leadership race because he didn't seem to have the energy. He's like a damp deputy store manager who wants to run things but still can't work a till.

Not at all, I too am multilingual. I think it depends on how familiar you are with each area. I can distinguish difference, but I'm not familiar enough to name the region. Had I not read comments I wouldn't have known. I also did not know there was a local stereotype that went with that.

I can assure you that people outside of the USA just hear a US accent. I have no idea which part he is from. He sounds intelligent and well spoken to me. It's the words you use, not the way you say them that is important.

Why isn't he using the vacuum cleaner? Especially if he paid for it and it's so fancy! The easiest way to "help" would be to get on and do it. (He should be doing it anyway).

Wimborne Community Theatre works on site specific stories, we use local people and real stories of their ancestors or experiences to create a narrative specific to the place we are performing. Our next project (part of the town of culture) titled Home, will be set in the grounds Kingston Lacey!

I'm quite proud to be a part of this, both as someone who works with Wimborne Community Theatre and Millstream Theatre Company, but also in promoting accessible sport and leisure activities as part of the same project.

I think it should read Wimborne Community Theatre, not Wimborne Drama Productions. Although the latter is a venerable company, Jeff Hart, The Mayor, has had the community theatre ( which I'm part of) heavily involved in the application process. The press release names Wimborne Community Theatre.

Is this going to impact my Monday afternoon trip into Blandford via Horton? If so I must object. I don't want to have to go via Witchampton, that road is a nightmare!
