i really want to take my husband to a real anime con cause hes never been before and i havent been in like 11 years but NO good ones are near alabama in june whomp. others are like 4 hour drives

for context i grew up in alabama/the south and i have seen some of the worst parts about the us. and I'm not saying chile is perfect bc it isnt but there's so much more i could say about how chile is superior and chileans dont know that bc a lot of them never travel outside their country

esp for my experience as coming from the us i always say "chile has affordable (mostly free for me) healthcare. amazing public transport (& now theyre making bullet trains!), immigration fees are NOTHING compared to the bs of the us, you know no mass school/public shootings!!!

this "chile is the best country in chile" stuff half of them are just joking. they loooove to put europe esp on a pedestal and its so sad because chile is amazing & they dont believe me when i tell them that!
