However oppression takes many forms, the US taking control of Venezuela is just a way of probing the World to see if they can keep their Hegemony and keep getting away of doing atrocious acts while then pointing the fingers and judging everyone else.
Authoritarian regimes should not be tolerated anywhere in the World, oppression is and never was the answer,
The USA never moved to liberate countries out of the goodness of their hearts, they always had a goal, keeping the US Hegemony.
I'm not a political expert, but I don't think it takes a whole lot of expertise to understand patterns in our history and how the US usually proceeds.
If you think the US is "liberating" the Venezuelan people, I think you're mistaken (being fairly conscious of my privilege).
