The Toronto Police Has Been a Rogue Agency for Too Long. Rein Them In. The latest corruption scandal is only the latest example of how the Toronto Police has become a broken institution accountable to no one.

I used to argue that CAN police are honest/honourable and nowhere near as corrupt/racist as the US police are, except there was more reporting of police in ON involved in questionable police actions. But no follow up reporting showing the police are being held to account.
