The word "mysterious" is pretty vague here, but I'm comfortable with them using it here. Out of the particles we know for sure exist, neutrinos are the ones we know the least about. They're notoriously difficult to examine.

Thanks! I worked very hard to get that script just right.
The world would be so much better if people could learn to just mind their own business.
Hot Take: Gravity is STILL a Force!

(because the term "force" is ambiguous)
You have more faith than I do.
That makes sense. As time goes on, I find that I have fewer strong opinions (and fewer opinions in general). Most things just aren't any of my business.
I never really got the hang of social media. How do y'all have so much to say all the time?
Being a highly ethical person is a constant struggle in our society.
The Crash Course YouTube Channel
Twelve years (and 2.1 billion views) ago, when my brother and I decided that we could make videos that could maybe help people in their high school and college educations and then give them away for free, no one was there to tell us we were crazy, and I am very glad for that...π§΅
Desktop isn't the priority anymore because it's not what most consumers use. We're dinosaurs.
Agree 100%. I should have at least been a VO channel. The amount of trouble it would have saved me is unreal. Unfortunately, face-to-camera channels do better. I probably wouldn't have been as successful if I had gone VO.
He's so close! There should be a factor of Ξ΅β on the very last term on the bottom right. Also, the 3rd equation should have a negative sign. But otherwise, he got it correct. The "spirit" of the equations is all there.
"Amazon Prime, but with human beings" is a horribly disturbing perspective.
Eh... I'm managing so far. Does that count as "ok"?
Knowledge, integrity, and quality of work does not pay bills.
I appreciate the respect though. Thanks π
I'm so tired of surviving. When do I get to thrive? Can I thrive now please?
I'm not surprised. That's a banger title you've got there.
The older I get, the more I'm convinced that all our technology can secretly detect a human user's age.
JUST DO WHAT I WANT YOU TO DO!!! PLEASE JUST WORK!!
If only I could get away with that.
Yeah, I've been aware of Mahesh's work for a while π
We launched a new channel!!
The format is a fun twist on tutorial videos. Basically, Em gives me a prompt and I have to animate something that meets the requirements. Just uploaded the second video: youtu.be/EVp8pd9_3aU
We'd love if you checked it out, and subscribe if you'd like to see more.
Congrats!
It's unreal how many times I've responded to people with a timecode. That's all that was in my reply. Just the timecode.
Viewers often ask me about little-known educational channels that I'm a fan of. Alexis Dahl is at the top of that list. I don't understand why her channel is still under 100K subs. Her work is incredible.
Holy moly! I assume youβre not badly damaged if youβre posting about it like this.
It's difficult to understand my own financial struggles when my income is higher than my (blue collar) parents' combined income when I was growing up... until I realize, after adjusting for inflation I make *significantly* less.

Oh yeah, I imagine that was pretty rough.
1) I'm pretty idealistic, so that's on brand for me.
2) I'm not a very confrontational person. War, information or otherwise, is not my skillset.
3) A reputable scicommer like myself debunking a ridiculous idea will not steer anyone away and could possibly have the opposite effect through exposure.
Would leaning into the negative get me tons of views and solve all my financial struggles? Probably... but the personal and societal cost isn't worth it. The world is already flooded with negativity. I'd rather be a beacon of joy and hope.
I almost never do debunking videos on my YT channel for this exact reason. I don't want to focus on the negative. Also, the people who actually *need* to watch that content won't listen anyway, so there's no *educational* reason to make it.
