Most of the cards are so low rarity I could probably get away with just buying packs, but nobody has product because it always gets bought out.
I just want my Milotics so I can play Feebas man...

The cards exist in a liminal space of value. Because they're not worth anything, people don't trade them in, and people like Milotic so they'd rather hold on to it even though most are just bulk cards.
I could try online, but I've been burned the past 3 times using tcgplayer so I'd rather not.
It can't be overstated how much scalping has hurt pokemon tcg experience, even for those just trying to play.
I'm currently trying to put together a Milotic deck because Feebas is my boi, but even though I'm just trying to get the low rarity stuff nobody has it.

And for those wondering, Hobo Johson is a guy using a pathetic voice, to sing pathetic stories, for people who are feeling pathetic.
Like, that's it. It's that simple.
I dunno why I've been seeing so much more of it lately, but It actually kinda baffles me how much hate Hobo Johnson gets and the way people seam to... not "get" it? I get not liking it, it's not really for everyone but man, the degree to which people hate him is wild to me.
Awesome design! I love the colors. Wish I could snatch her right up.
I really wish people would stop waiting for video game review release day scores to decide how happy or unhappy they are with a game they've been anticipating
Sometimes the most fun online games for you will come with 10+ minute que times, or require coordinating with folks over discord, and that's okay.
This completely misses the point that not every game concept HAS millions of people interested in it to maintain those types of numbers.
But by focusing so much on lobby numbers and steam user charts we are basically demanding new games be produced with "universal appeal" like everything else.
One issue I have with the way online discourse talks about playerbases for modern games is that it really feels like "gamers" at large have forgotten the concept of a "niche game".
If a game isn't able to maintain thousands of players online at all times, it's a failure and therefore bad.

When your sustainable business model is pretending to know a sustainable business model.
Nice! I appreciate the answer as sometimes terms like that can be hard to Google.
I've heard the terms shmup and bullet hell, what does STG stand for?
I just woke up from a nap and somehow while I was asleep, everyone on the bus has figured out we are not going to the right place

I feel like most people who criticize comic books don't even bother to read them. They look at marvel and DC with 5 million different time lines, decide it's not worth it and just generic supes in capes, and then assume the rest of the industry is just the same stuff.

I would have started streaming sooner, but I got distracted deck building, ngl
