Apparently, Trump will remove sanctions giving Putin the opportunity to benefit from this manufactured war.

The Labor Government are dismantling climate and domestic biodiversity science while giving contracts to USA ogliarchal fossil fuelled corporations and weapons manufacturers. They are trying to turn us into a military base. / nuclear waste dump and mini g site. They are killing our country.

Methane venting is not some avoidable mistake. It's a baked in part of gas extraction + processing.

If we continue to extract gas & oil, no way round it, we will be releasing vast amounts of this incredibly potent greenhouse gas.

We have to stop extracting fossil fuels, now.

Why would we expand our imports of fossil fuels, when we can see how war makes prices shoot up? Clean, green renewable energy is a better option - for energy independence, for the planet, and for our pockets.

This is an absolutely huge jump in oil prices.

It's also why Europe needs to get off fossil fuels asap (beyond climate change impact). We can't be beholden to this.

I have a magical device in my driveway that protects me from oil price shocks, emasculates petrothugs, slows the rising seas, and powers my car. During times like these, worth considering!

It would be one history‘s great plot twists if Trump has now managed to alert the entire world to why they should transition away from single-use fossils to renewables as quickly as any possible - even while having dismissed global warming.

And Hormuz isn‘t even Asia‘s biggest risk.

Oil prices wouldn't be all over the news today if more of our economy was powered by local, secure renewable energy.
