I like the idea! Maybe the "every other page" was too off-putting. I'm imagining like, in the corners of some pages, there's an NPC relevant in some way to the surrounding content. Page about items, here's a merchant that connects you to some other parts of the world you may not be thinking about.
I may as well share with you the big boy version of this that all the math Ph.D students spread around a couple years ago

Could you pass a message to whoever is doing the RSS feed to include these images "above the fold" in that feed? I think that opportunity to recognize the product visually is important, but the RSS feed is just a bunch of headlines that get released in batches.
Someone let me score a metroidvania kplzthx
I feel crazy because I remember us all getting over trying to decide art was "high" or "low" when I was a kid.
Tapping the sign
As I've gotten older I've realized how many people, especially young men, really deeply believe that art has objective "goodness" or "quality", and that's the only thing that matters, and differences in tastes are people being *mistaken*. So it becomes a point of pride; to be "right".
From what I've seen, the actual stereotypical trans woman looks like a high school art teacher. I think we should lean into that stereotype more in our media because it'd be funny
Both current copyright law and AI training practices come down to the same basic abuses of credit and consent.
some of my games are now available for purchase on DriveThruRpg, as an experiment! we'll see if the people on that site want to roleplay being a princess or a teenager
"Sure, ICE is bad, but we need to deport illegal immigrants"
No you don't.
If immigration enforcement leads to concentration camps and roving death squads, maybe it's time to just get rid of the concept of illegal immigration entirely. You've tried it, it's a bad idea in practice, so bin it.
Imagine.
I'm only somewhat vaguely familiar with chamber music and visual novels but I feel like I'm good at background music and I'd be stoked to get music into a game - hillhand.com/music
It's increasingly clear that Musk doesn't actually know anything, he just parrots various sci-fi phrases he's picked up by osmosis.
I want a scene in a movie where a male character does something unexpected like a sick spin kick or hotwiring a car, and when everyone's like "where'd you learn that?" He says "I grew up with three sisters."
This author's entire body of work, both fiction and non, is wonderful and I highly encourage reading it all. I count Antimemetics and Ra among my favorite novels.
There's so much good fantasy to read just from the direct *influences* on it too! I recommend the Earthsea series, if anyone is looking for something.
How it's used now kind of has the same energy as "The customer is always right in matters of taste" --> "The customer is always right".
In context, the Turing Test as we know it was put forth by Turing as an example of how absurd and un-useful such an "intelligence test" would be.
How To Make Everything just did an episode about some beer analogs from around the world: www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQ01...
