Franklin Park is lowkey my favorite city park here. Franklin Park neighborhood is nice, especially with the East Market now. Broad St corridor specifically has room to grow (need someone to buy the 1312 building and turn it into housing)

A few years ago there was momentum for rent control in Columbus, but the state swooped in and banned it because it’s a “matter of a statewide concern”.
I guess allowing more housing through zoning isn’t a statewide concern 🤪
Ohio Republicans love to cite “home rule” as justification for why we can’t have statewide zoning reform, but then turnaround and block any local attempts to improve our cities
