There's quite a smorgasbord on offer...
They have stood the test of time.
Nope, just a reaction from an overactive imagination (or ESP?). She took one look at the comfy old brown chair when it arrived and declared it haunted.
Checked duvet on fold out chair next to a keyboard on a stand and a wall of books.
Same.bed, different angle
Another festive break on the 'Haunted Chair', according to niece, actually quite comfy. With optional musical interlude potential. #duvetknowitschristmas
There's just a couple of days to double what you can give to Hear Me Out's transformative work..
At @hearmeoutmusic.bsky.social we're looking for people who can bring fresh perspective to our Board, especially through experience of immigration & diversity. Please share, especially with people who may be brilliant and feel it's not for them hearmeoutmusic.org.uk/stories/seek...
Donate to our #R4Appeal and bring creativity to those stuck in immigration detention in the UK. Listen to beneficiary Kwaku speak about us on Radio 4: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m...
Fond memories of 8 year old neice visiting me & wanting to make custard (with powder). 'Mum!' She exclaimed, 'Joanna's custard powder is older than me!'. It was fine (although white not yellow).
But I know as soon as I do I will need those venerable chestnuts in brine for a recipe.
In case you missed it, here's the lovely Kwaku talking about the impact of @hearmeoutmusic.bsky.social on #bbcradio4 this morning & how you can help them transform more lives

A cover of a programme with a multi layered dramatic photo of performer Ramesh, head & shoulders lit against a dark background, beneath a tile 'ad infinitum presents LAST RITES'
Thanks @theatreadinfinitum.bsky.social & @cornexchangenew.bsky.social for a gentle, intimate, moving & absorbing story so skillfully told by Ramesh Meyyappan
Well worth a listen as a clear reminder of assumptions and conditioning around undocumented people caught in our broken immigration system.
Notice how βfree speechβ and βreligious freedomβ suddenly didnβt apply to a Christian Bishop in her own church.
Afternoon sun on a sandy beach with a wooden groyne at the waters edge, a calm sea and gentle sky looking across to the dark line of the shore of the Isle of Wight.
Looking into the silver path of the afternoon sun shining through a gap in the clouds from a beach, a wooden groyne on the left, Isle of Wight visible on the horizon across a glassy Solent.
Delayed paddle tomorrow. The Solent's unlikely to look like it did last Monday
The problem is less how much media covers reform, more that it covers them on THEIR terms.
Itβs about Muslims & boats & boats & boats.
Never ever are they challenged on their desire to scrap the NHS or their economic policy (or lack thereof).
Thatβs why they benefit from disproportionate coverage.
One of 3 pics showing close ups of frosty leaves
Its a bit chilly out.
I thought it was just me misunderstanding or missing something. Yes they are a vital industry, but nursed, teachers, social workers...?
And spot on re big buyers squeezing them. They should be driving tractors into supermarket car parks, I'd join them there.
Jean-Marie Le Pen, the French far right leader, died today.
If you wonder how many French people feel about that, these are the scenes of celebration on the streets of Paris this evening.
One sign reads βThe dirty racist is deadβ.

The new centre ground of our migration debate is going to be between Nigel Farage & Tommy Robinson if the media gets its way.
Labour needs, desperately, to get a grip on the narrative & stop chasing the tails of the far & further right. #r4today
