Note: everything you see happening in the video (the dynamic layout shifts when adjusting font-size and line-height) is handled by CSS. The only thing that is adjusted through JavaScript is the image (as it needs to conform to the grid, its height needs to be set to a multiple of the baseline).

I recently needed a grid layout in CSS. So I resorted to the "baseline grid" I built earlier (which I wrote about here: hnldesign.hashnode.dev/setting-a-fl...). As always, I thought "hold on, I can improve this". Turns out: I did improve it - a lot. Will write about it soon. #css #layout #baseline
