I'm 90% pantser. I've tried to outline but my characters weren't having any of it. My planned villain preferred being a best friend, another character decided to have a different misbelief, the list goes on. So I just trust them to write their own stories now.

Yes! I have a stack of books sitting on my desk that grows faster than it clears. But at least we're surrounded by so much talent and entertainment

And I'm one of those people who would rather die than speak in public.

I don't think I've ever had writers block. My characters just go where they want to go but I have written myself into a corner. In my YA that deals with time manipulation, I had no where to go that made sense. I had to delete an entire chapter and move on.

My favorite are soul collectors, Bria and Tievel from my YA Fantasy. She’s uptight, duty-bound, and clings to the rules. He’s arrogant, charming, and way too smug. They're platonic soulmates. No romance. No tension. Just a dream team of death.

I feel like I'm closing on the final leg of a marathon. I still have a few people reviewing my pages but I'm nearly there. My focus is on reading over writing for the time being. But it's a welcomed break.
