It's okay if it's not your comfort zone. Just ideas. I will also mention there are e-tricycles that are pretty darn sleek and for which 15 miles would be no big deal, in terms of range.

EVs are comparable or cheaper than other vehicles. Other thoughts: look into ebikes and bus routes, and tell your local govt to get themselves together and fix the infrastructure to minimize car dependency.

It's not like full-sized vehicles are likely to get cheaper anytime soon (+ bikes are fun).

As of today, we are a 0 IC engine family. Electric mini for in town, Bolt for out of town.

Oh, and like.. 10 bicycles for the vast majority of trips.

Come on now, wear and tear on those tires and brake pads is probably ... a few whole pennies a week!

My dogs love my mini cooper.

(They are Aussies. Three of them. Not the miniature version.)

Time for red light cameras?

Someone figured it out!

Thank you for this moment of zen.

This means I'm going to have to seek you out the next time my client is before SCOTUS (mostly because I want to talk musical theater).

You are saying all non-disabled people riding ebikes are lazy. That is false. And even if it were true, they are still less "lazy" than drivers. Why in the world pick this fight?

I ride 200-300 miles a week on a regular bike. Ebikes are great for recovery days, groceries, kid hauling. Lazy? ๐Ÿ™„

People who pick ebikes over CARS (you know.. air conditioned boxes with recliners in them) are... lazy? Am I lazy for picking a carbon bike over steel? Am I lazy for not living up a 15% driveway?

You have picked the wrong soap box. Any bike > any car/truck/SUV.

That range is no problem at all. Go test a few out at a local shop to see how they pedal in different modes. There's quite a range.

Given the state of bike racks, what does everyone carry? Just u locks? I currently don't go anywhere I can't bring my bike inside. It's very limiting.

Which must be released from that torture device asap!

Likely it is staked into the ground to some extend and is otherwise heavy AF.

A.. bike rack?

A.. bike rack?

I found this new contraption outside my gym yesterday. I'm still still confused and hope they'll let me keep bringing my bike inside.

I don't know. I'm torn. I come closest to dying when cars turn right. Banning right on red helps, but I almost got squished yesterday by a work truck that turned into me (no signal) when the light turned green green. If I was to his left? No issue. I don't want my kid involved in either scenario.

I hate my gopro. Love my varia. Garmin's front camera/light seems to be good too.

Definitely not.

I remember getting those bills. It's particularly insane when Republicans are telling (white) people to have more kids. Are my expectations too high if I think political candidates should be seizing on this?

He's... an improvement over Sinema? Oof. We are definitely not great at this.

If chewing up cabinet secretaries in public hearings gets them fired, can we do RFK Jr. next?

More gull wings.

Unless space is limited, the court doesn't usually care. Lawyers know it is for lawyers (and paralegals, etc.) and clients, and the court can generally safely assume lawyers behave accordingly. Usually you identify your client(s) if they are present, but you don't have to, unless the court asks.

Nah. They don't care what women want. They don't even pretend to. They think they are entitled to have their needs met by women and are resentful when that doesn't happen.

We are certainly due for one hell of a pendulum swing.

Love it! The inconsistency is unfortunate, but the specific provision allowing requests for permission overrides the general "no bikes" section. Potential flexibility is good.

03.03.2026 05:03 ๐Ÿ‘ 1 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Wait, what? What is the language of the document prohibiting it? I'd love to try to lawyer it.

I'm not sure what group this person trying to belong to with that completely ridiculous wheel/tire combination.
