Can’t really call it the Department of War if we aren’t at war though, c’mon.

It’s almost like he doesn’t expect to need the electorate’s favor to retain power.
Very excited for a sequel to Elder Race!

Gah, is that 18/14 mesh? That f-er's an inch long!
My favorite "Val Kilmer film"? Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang.
But, my favorite film that Val Kilmer is in at all? True Romance.
Grr, B6 JFK→MIA, AA MIA→EIS was nice for getting to the BVI
This is slightly funnier if you know that ICE actually contains ERO which deports immigrants, and HSI which investigates real international crimes: smuggling, financial crime, child exploitation, human trafficking, fraud, &c. And HSI agents are in fact real sad about no-one liking them any more!
You there now? We have a villa booked in September.
Oh, he cares about us. He hates us, for knowing and mocking him since the '80s.
It's not terrifically complex or sophisticated – but it'll optimize the slow part of an important microservice here. I'm waiting for one of our Rustaceans to chime in on that PR, but the Rust code looks OK to me!
That repo is public now – the code is still in github.com/Media-Platfo...
Ah, but these were deported from blue cities in blue states, not from farms in CA and TX. He's hurting the right people!
I remember reading in grad school the political scientist Richard Nathan’s fine book, “The Plot That Failed: Nixon and the Administrative Presidency.” This plot is more far-reaching and more brazen than Nixon’s. Will we see to it that it too fails?
It replaces the `jsonmerge` pure-Python package with a Rust implementation that hard-codes the custom merge strategy we use – making it about 13x faster.
Now we can code up an MVP quickly in Python and then let the AI rewrite the core for speed in Rust once our requirements and API are stable!
Whoops – didn't realize it'd been linked in the PyPI metadata. I'll ask my corporate masters to make it public ツ
The code is still in a pull request, so the repo will look empty at first anyway...
I asked it to write a Python module in Rust on Saturday, had it done and on PyPI by Sunday. I don't know Rust! pypi.org/project/json...
BCN would be excellent for us! My sister-in-law is renovating an apartment there... with a guest house...
But perhaps the auction item I'd love the most: a Chandler letter with this delicious BIG SLEEP detail (a famous anecdote I always suspected was apocryphal).
I love these new warhammer goblin riders. The goblins are plainly mean and nasty and the wolf is just having the best time.
A framed comic panel by Lee Falk depicting the Phantom saying "You ~ and your descendants ~ will have the protection of the Phantom all your lives ~ where ever the mark is known."
Starting with Lee Falk's "Phantom"
A ground-floor hallway at Hearst Tower, decorated with framed comic-strip panels from King Features comics.
The corridor on the ground floor of Hearst Tower from the loading bay where I park my bike to the lobby is decorated with comic-strip panels from King Features comics. I shall strive to post one a day when I'm in the office.
