I remember reading in grad school the political scientist Richard Nathan’s fine book, “The Plot That Failed: Nixon and the Administrative Presidency.” This plot is more far-reaching and more brazen than Nixon’s. Will we see to it that it too fails?
It replaces the `jsonmerge` pure-Python package with a Rust implementation that hard-codes the custom merge strategy we use – making it about 13x faster.
Now we can code up an MVP quickly in Python and then let the AI rewrite the core for speed in Rust once our requirements and API are stable!
