I need all artists to know that using 3D models in your art is not cheating. Those free-to-use 3D models are literally there to make your life easier. Stop being so hard on yourself and just trace that 3D object. You don't need to be able to perfectly draw every object ever from memory!!

Just finished this cedar waxwing artist trading card. Painted with QoR watercolors on hot press paper using a Pentel water brush. Waxwings love berries so much they sometimes get tipsy from fermented fruit. Painting this felt like holding a quiet breath. Affordable originals ;-) #bird #sciart

Die Veilchenkopfelfe ist ein kleiner Kolibri aus Nordamerika, der sich durch das metallisch violette Gefieder des Männchens von der eher unscheinbaren, grünlich-grauen Weibchen unterscheidet. Veilchenkopfelfen sind sehr klein, ca. 7-8 cm lang.
