Tour #2 is also rolling out today. We have two British guests heading into the heart of Flanders, with their expert guide Nick. 1st stop Lijssenthoek Cem. This peaceful resting place was once the site of the largest casualty clearing station on the Ypres Salient.

#OTD in 1917, the American Ambassador to the UK is passed the Zimmermann Telegram. It stated that Germany would ensure the return of New Mexico, Texas, & Arizona to Mexico, if Mexico declared war on the USA. For the USA, this was another step closer to entering the #1WW.
