Day 17-Together with GBF, @crcl1988.bsky.social, @alabamacoastal.bsky.social, and Tampa Bay Watch, we make the Gulf Regional Oyster Network. Restaurants put their shells to use by enrolling in our partner programs that reuse old shells to create oyster reefs! #30DaysofRAE

Day 16 - Southeast New England has always relied on healthy estuaries for food, transportation, and recreation. Today, RI and MA still depend on these vital waterways, which is why RAE, in partnership with the EPA, proudly works with communities to restore them through the SNEP Program. #30DaysofRAE
Day 15 - In 28 National Estuary Program areas, RAE administers the Watershed and Coastal Watershed Grants to support projects addressing threats to estuaries. From water quality monitoring to oyster reef installations, all are led by the communities that know their waters the best #30DaysofRAE
Day 14-2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the partnership between RAE and CITGO through the Caring for our Coast program. We have worked to bring about measurable on-the-ground results along the Gulf Coast and to build support for environmental protection throughout the region.

Day 5-Every Feb 14, we lift our voices in support of our estuaries and remind our leaders how important these natural resources are. With our partners, NERRA and ANEP, we celebrate what makes our estuary special – from the critters to the plants… even the mud! #30DaysofRAE
Day 4-Our most recent Summit brought together an incredible community of coastal leaders with over 100 sessions, 600 speakers, and representatives from 500 organizations. We're setting our sights on the 2026 Summit, taking place November 15–19, in San Francisco. #30DaysofRAE
Day 3- Driven by the desire to convene, RAE launched the first Coastal & Estuarine Summit in '02 in Baltimore, MD. The Summit has traveled across the country - from the wetlands of New Orleans to the shores of Tampa Bay, from the California coast in Long Beach to our nation’s capital. #30DaysofRAE
RAE members have made a colossal impact regionally and nationally to ensure that our coasts remain safe, healthy, and productive places to live for the 40% of Americans who call them home.
