New blog post about my recent solo exhibition 3:33am.

The clock says 3:32 AM. I’m writing this down in case someone finds it. If you do, don’t watch the tape. Don’t look in the mirrors. And if you hear the knock... don’t answer. #333AM
I left the hotel, driving aimlessly. It followed. In every reflection, every shadow, there it was—closer each time. I don’t know how long I can keep running. #333AM
I didn’t open it. I couldn't. The knocking turned into banging. Then, silence. I peered through the peephole, only to see my own face staring back at me, hollow-eyed. #333AM
I checked into a hotel, miles away. I needed distance, space to think. But when I turned on the TV, static filled the screen, followed by a familiar knock at the door. #333AM
I turned around. Empty air. But my reflection in the window wasn’t mine—it was the figure’s, gaunt and distorted, staring back. I ran out of the house, leaving everything. #333AM
I deleted the footage. The screen went black, except for a single phrase: “IT WON’T HELP YOU.” I felt a presence behind me, like cold fingers reaching for my spine. #333AM
A message flashed on my screen: “DELETE THE VIDEO.” My heart stopped. I didn’t tell anyone. No one else knew. I tried to close the window, but it appeared again. “NOW.” #333AM
The next day, I searched online. 3:33 AM was known as the “witching hour,” a time when the veil between worlds thinned. But that didn’t explain the figure in my house. #333AM
It didn’t move. Neither did I. Minutes passed. The clock hit 3:34, and suddenly it was gone. But when I reviewed the footage, the camera showed nothing—except me, trembling. #333AM
The lights went out. I was paralyzed. A breath, not mine, grazed my neck. I turned on the camera’s night vision, and there it was—standing in the corner, staring. #333AM
3:32 AM. Silence. I could hear my own heartbeat. Then, the lights flickered. I reached for my phone, but my hand felt cold—too cold. Something was in the room with me. #333AM
That night, I set up a camera of my own, facing my bed. I needed to know what was happening at 3:33 AM. I kept the lights on and stayed awake, staring at the clock. #333AM
I yanked open the door. No one. Just the box, now empty. I slammed the door shut, breathing hard. The VCR spat out the tape, mangled and broken. Whatever was on it was gone. #333AM
The next scene was... today. The same box on my doorstep. But now there was a knock at the door, on the tape—and in real life. I froze. The knocking continued. Relentless. #333AM
I paused the tape. My heart raced. I hadn't seen anyone that night—or ever. But there it was, watching me sleep. I hit play, and it slowly leaned over me, as if whispering. #333AM
I fast-forwarded. Hours passed on screen, just me living my life. Then, at exactly 3:33 AM, the figure appeared. Tall, gaunt, its face blurred. It stood at the foot of my bed. #333AM
I borrowed an old VCR from my neighbor. The tape started with static, then flickered to life: a video of my living room. Someone had been inside. Someone had filmed me. #333AM
I found a box outside my door this morning. No address, no label—just my name. Inside was a single VHS tape. I don't even own a player, but something told me I had to watch it. #333AM
Along with my little Halloween facts, I'll also post a segment of a short story titled '3:33 AM' daily... at 3:33 AM (central time). To find all the parts in case you missed one, simply search for the hashtag #333AM. The last part will be posted on Halloween.
