Eric Valent, is one year younger than me and played baseball just a city over at Canyon High School. They weren't in our league and I'm fairly certain that I never played against him. I did play against was Ronnie Hall from Tustin High School. He made it to AA in 1998.

56.1 Career WAR and ranks at around the 23rd best 3B of all time. If he hadn't basically blown up his ankle in 1997 he would have had a very good chance to make the Hall of Fame. I did get to see him as a Dodger though!

Robin Ventura is one of my top 10 baseball players of all time. Still amazed at the college baseball 58-game hitting streak he still holds today! Of course, most people remember him as the guy who charged Nolan Ryan on the mound and got a bloody nose.

This Brian Anderson card could have been worth something. But then he decided to meh his way to a career -.2 WAR in 799 at-bats. I almost confused him with the Pitcher and 3B of the same name. But each one is 10 years older than the next. (3/3)
