Two wild turkeys on my back fence and another on the grass! First time I've ever seen them here in 4+ years.
My #40daysofgoodshit today was this flock of wild turkeys that loitered on our block for seriously 5+ hours. Will report back if they are still around in the morning; they were in our trees at dusk. They can jump fences, turns out! Last pic is them in/on my yard and fence. There were 18 or so!
Today I saw a long fence draped with wisteria in full bloom. I'm thankful.

I’m grateful today for the books of #TerryPratchett. He died 22 years ago today -- far too young. His writing, like Mark Twain's, combined original characters, vivid humor, and lively dialogue with a deep wisdom. He proved that great literature can be fun to read.

I don’t know who invented chair yoga, but I’m grateful to them. We have a regular schedule of arm day (with weights), leg day (aerobics), and chair yoga. They are all good workouts, but the yoga feels graceful and playful along the way.

Landed in DC after a hellish evacuation flight out of Riyadh. Staying with friends who welcomed us with a hug and “Welcome home”. And it was the best thing after what can only be described as the second worst flight of our foreign service career. #40DaysofGoodShit

My help went with me.
Woke up at 3:30 am due to the thunderstorm. Then at 6:00 am this little birdie was singing a song. It’s going to be a good day. #40DaysofGoodShit
Modern medicine is a great blessing. Without it, I would have been dead long ago — from allergies, minor infections, gallstones, or worse things. So would many of the people I care about.
