Image of a work in progress miniature figurine. This part is a small 'squig' or squiggly beast, that holds up a large 'snazz-gun'. There is a large muscled arm with green skin holding the grip of the snazzgun. The skin is textured with hundreds of hand painted freckles and dots.
A green skinned forearm holding a large hammer. The hammer is painted in grey tones, the hammer shaft is painted in brown and tan tones to imply worn leather wrapping. The arm gripping the hammer has green skin with hundreds of tiny speckled freckle dots in a lighter shade of green.
The torso portion of a work in progress miniature being painted for a competition. The orks skin is painted in shades of green with micro-dot texturing. It is wearing brown pants with yellow and grey armor accents.
The background is out of focus and depicts a cutting mat and red-handled paint brushes, along with various paints and modeling materials
Here's the progress from yesterday's WIP stream on Ufthak Blackhawk. Main skin texture is applied, then I started laying out the base grey for the metal portions.
