Some years ago I was totally crazy for this images that are just 4x5 paper negative of diatoms taken at the microscope. Very few people do or know how to do such kind of things in the digital age.

This birch wood is called the silver forest here. It’s very close to my house. Few minutes by car but it is hidden that also people that born here don’t know were it is.

cobbles and plants in a running stream, there are several stones the size of small stones.
a view of a hillside covered in oak trees, from across a duck pond, a mosquito infested hellscape where you can be allergic to normal ass oak trees.
a log, and some blackberry vines, laid in a bed of grasses that look dried due to the black and white film.
I'm recovering from poison oak, from the twelve frames I got saturday before last, and there is also a mess of digital pictures I haven't looked at from the sunday.

Kirsten making a funny face while waiting for me to get film into the Graflex and snap a photo of her uncharacteristic 70's bush. Prior to this she kept her hair short and she talked about how much more she liked it grown out. Peer pressure, she said, is why she had kept trimming it short.
When Kirsten came over with a big 70's bush and posed for a closeup for The Pussy Project.
We shot ~12 times over 2-3 years - she never took herself or me too seriously but the pics we got were powerful.
