They liberated the Netherlands during WWII. The Dutch have never forgotten Canadian soldiers helped liberate the Netherlands from Nazi occupation 80 years ago, and those sacrifices have never been forgotten by the people there. The National hears recollections from veterans ...

During WWII my grandfather, a tugboat captain, would sabotage Nazi submarines by planting bombs underneath them.

This is just one of the ways my family was part of the #DutchResistance.

We are so closely tied to the #Holocaust and #80YearsLater it turns out that many are forgetting & not taught.
