Hidden at Home: Alarming questions, few state investigations of NJ group home deaths Reporters found nearly 50 cases since 2013 in which vulnerable group home residents died amid alarming questions about their care and supervision.

Excellent reporting here by North Jersey. When residents are denied access to the communication tools and supports they need to communicate effectively, the institution dehumanizes them even further.
