3 #ABAWD memos misfiled later, they lost any of the limited benefits they might have had, like Food Stamps #SNAP or #Medicaid

Re-applying for those without an address for forms is nearly impossible.

The systems meant to support those most in need are instead predatory focused on saving money.

#SNAP is a fantastic program when it works. Unfortunately most of the states are running dysfunctional programs right now and the #ABAWD rule is pretty much always terrible. And regardless of how bad the administration of the program is, people will still need to eat everyday. Making people starve

"If they want to eat" is a loaded phrase, when everyone just needs to eat everyday. It's not an actual choice, regardless of how you frame it.

And the reality of the #ABAWD rule is that it's wildly burdensome to the agency and is frequently implemented wrong to the harm of people who need #SNAP.

Also data doesn't bear out that #ABAWD s are "refusing" to work. Blaming people for "refusing to work" is an excuse for trying to starve them.
