For the first time this year I managed to play a game at the Devizes club. #ddwg
A game to help a friend prep for a #adlg comp set in 1106. Convinced he’d have knights I took Ghaznavids with max elephants. And he picked exactly the same but he had more units. Good game but I lost #wargaming

A weekend of mixed fortunes for my Swiss in Plymouth this weekend. 2 losses (really should have won one of those as I was ahead on breakpoints until I made a daft mistake), one winning draw & a win.
Highlight was my light crossbows killing a knight to break the Serbian Empire army. #adlg #wargaming

Swiss halberdiers from Perry Miniatures based for #adlg. I’m ringing the changes with an order from Lancashire Games’ Venezia #28mm #ItalianWars range. They look good but need heads and weapons sticking on so photos to come soon.

This weekend I’m in Brixham, Devon, playing #Adlg with the new #28mm Assyrian army I’ve been painting for what seemed like forever. Two games in and it’s one draw one win. One game to play today. #wargaming
Always good to go away for the weekend and find the postman has called with more #28mm #wargames figures. So today I will be painting a couple of #adlg stands of metal Perry Miniatures halberdiers at rest.
And here are the Swiss with bases drying. Another 24 halberdiers to paint and the army will be complete for #adlg competition in Plymouth.
