Chen Xiao was in the historical drama #ADreamofSplendor with Yiu Yifei, if you’ve seen that, & also #TheIngeniousOne which was good
This year I watched him in the late Qing dynasty business themed drama #LegendoftheMagnate - he was very good in this drama too

Yes, I would agree with that. Both start very well, but #BlossomsinAdversity is faster paced & gets you into the story very quickly; whereas #ADreamofSplendor is a bit subtler & more circuitous in how it evolves
Both have enterprising FLs though, & MLs with good hearts but also a ruthless streak

Not a comment on the Indian English here (if that what’s meant), but both #BlossomsinAdversity & #ADreamofSplendor are lovely historical dramas with strong FLs - even if they’re not quite in the vein of #TheDouble (which the questioner was asking about)
