Vulnerable people quietly kicked out of Clark County’s adult family homes and assisted living facilities The state of Washington prohibits nursing homes from kicking out residents without letting anyone know.

Vulnerable residents can be kicked out or transferred from adult family homes or assisted living without an eviction.

Some send a resident to the emergency room, then refuse to let them back.
