I loved my #aiwa personal stereo - it was a thing of beauty. I would’ve gone back into a burning building for it. It was the absolute pinnacle of tech back then - feathertouch logic controls, autoreverse, Dolby NR, rechargeable battery and in-line remote. Hard to think I bought it 36! 😱 years ago.
Back in the 1980s, when the #sony Walkman changed the way we handle #music forever, I owned a "Walkman" from #aiwa. Turns out, I owned a Sony Walkman (kind of) after all.
Aiwa was a great brand. I miss the good old tape mixing days ...
