Re-watched the video where I first saw the #AIinspired #SweaterDress I'm trying to make a reality. Did not realize that this is not a coffin dress--the knot work is on the back as well as the front. Not sure whether I want to do that. ๐ค Either way, I'm going to make this cord longer. ๐
Center cord is coming along nice and quick! Measured last night and it's about 15-1/2' long when relaxed, so 5' to go! This has also only taken about 5 hours so far, as well, so the difference between the 10-peg round #Loom and the 5-peg #FrenchKnitter is really showing. #AIinspired #SweaterDress
So far so good! I am much happier with the diameter of this one, and the smaller diameter is making this go much quicker. I had a false start during the break when I started knitting this, but was able to knit about 5" beyond the end of the #FrenchKnitter then. #AIinspired #KnittedDress
Okay, that's done. Pulling yarn up really works the triceps brachii! The original tube has been un-knitted, so I can make a new tube with a smaller diameter. That one had better work, else I get to make a knitting tube for myself, which I don't want to do.

Deconstruction has begun! I think knowing I ultimately needed to do this is why I've not been working on the #AIinspired #SweaterDress, despite being between semesters. Anyway, this is too wide, so I'm pulling it apart and will be using the smaller end of my #FrenchKnitter to remake it.
Turned in my final assignment last night, and the semester is officially over (as far as I know)! I am finally free to continue eorking on my #AIinspired #SweaterDress again! Got some Flexee looms to see if I can use those to make a #KnottingBoard, instead of making my own. Fingers crossed!

This Halloween, I'm not doing anything scary. Or am I?
I have concluded that using an S-curve loom for my #AIinspired #LoomKnitted #Dress is not going to work. Because the pegs do not stay lined up around the curves sufficiently for the figure-8 stitch.
So. I found these at Michaels.
Okay. I am 7.8 hours into the process of making the central cording for this #AIinspired #SweaterDress #LoomKnotting project, and I have 9'8" to show for it. Not bad!
I am now concerned the cording is too wide, and am seriously considering making two more, using both sizes on my #FrenchKnitter.
Okay! I think I've figured out the central #Scandinavian #knotwork for my #AIinspired #knitted #SweaterDress! I wanted to use #Yggdrasil for the entirety, but the image does have a heart on the chest area, so I'm using a pattern for Yggdrasil's roots, instead. One continuous cord, no breaks--check!
All right! The fabric liner and zipper for my #AIinspired #SweaterDress #knitting project has arrived! All ordered from Michaels, and I have to laugh.
#Fabric A came in a plastic mailer, as did Fabric B (which is the one I'll be using).
The #zipper? A 6" x 10" x 10" square box. Yes, really! ๐
As a side note, I've ordered this little circle knitter from eBay. From my count, it has 20 pegs. I'm interested in seeing if it can knit using every other peg. I'm guessing no, but if it can then I'll be pleasantly surprised and this process will go faster.

Okay, I'm about 2.75 total hours in, and my central cording for the knot work is 46"/115cm long. I'm guessing I've used maybe 1/6 of the skein? There's a nice hole in the center, now, anyway. I'm wondering if the central design will use more than one skein.

This far, the hardest part is my hand cramping from holding such a tiny loom! Granted, that just means I'm a bit dehydrated, but still. Makes me wish there was a tony machine loom I could use for this (I already looked, smallest is 20+ pegs, I'm using 10). ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
