Apparently today is #artistday, so here's a collection of some pieces I've made over the years to showcase today. I hope everyone feels proud of their work and continues to enjoy creating more.

A black and white drawing a various cats of various shapes, mostly of their faces and expressions. one is happily getting its chin scratched, another is frightened, there's one hissing, and several staring iwth more content, judging, and spacey expressions. The sketch with the largest scale has one eye closed, and is squinting the toehr. A cat with long fur in its ears is staring at something to its right. there are some fluffy paws drawn, one from above, and one from the side.
It's Fennel and DJ Flame from Fionna and Cake. It's based off of their look in season one, and they are smiling at each other as they embrace. Phelix (DJ Flame) has an arm around Fennel's shoulders, and is holding her hand. Their other hands meet infront of them to form a heart!

In the first panel a girl walks up stairs with her bug-catching net and jar, and her inner monologue reads "Oh, farewell!" The monologue continues under the next panel, where she is showing her sister the jar full of fireflies, "I must take my leave-" and finally, the last panel she is looking up at the fireflies as she releases them, one had holding the jar and the other the lid to the jar, and is surrounded by a glowing stream of yellow-green light. The fireflies fly to the trees in the background and next to one that has landed on a leaf, the inner monologue continues "But! I'll be back tomorrow night!" and text bellow that in an elaborate font reads "End" in yellow over a leaf from a tree. This is digital, but the textures resemble watercolor or gouache paint, and the speech bubbles have a slight glow. The inner monologue is set over what looks like a cluster of lights with a pink glow.
A long-haired fiery orange tabby cat gazes over its shoulder as it sits amongst autumn foliage, almost disappearing into the orange and red leaves that surround it. It's tail pokes out from some leaves and flowers, and behind it is a thick collection of trees with light shining through their leaves. There are some plants creeping up their tree trunks, and even some red Parthenocissus quinquefolia obscuring the cat's back from view. There are greens and oranges throughout the trees and underbrush, and some sparkles around the cat, who has some pink undertones, and it's eyes have various green hues. This is mixed media - water color, gel pen, and colored pencil - on a square canvas.
It was #artistday !? I didn't even know there was one! Happy (late) Artist Day!!!
