A visual representation of the Asexuality Spectrum *
Many ace identities lined up on a scale from "Experiences no sexual attraction" (on the left) to "Experiences sexual attraction" (on the right)
Did you know? Terms like Sex-Ambivalent, Sex-Favorable, Sex-Indifferent, Sex-Averse, and Sex-Repulsed help individuals explain their relationship with sex, and are used by people with many different identities accross the spectrum.
Asexual: Someone who experiences little to no sexual attraction
Ace-Spec: Someone who falls on the spectrum of Asexuality
both identities are an umbrella above the following, from left to right
Black Stripe Asexual: Someone who experiences no sexual attraction
Aegosexual: ...and experiences a disconnection between oneself and a sexual target
Graysexual: Someone who experiences little or limited sexual attraction
Requissexual**: ... due to some form of emotional exhaustion
On the left of the scale are labels for:
Someone who experiences no sexual attraction...
In the middle there are labels for:
Someone who experiences sexual attraction only...
On the right there are labels for:
Someone who does experience sexual attraction... ***
Someone who experiences no sexual attraction...
Apothisexual: ... and is sex-repulsed
Ilculasexual: ... and is sex-indiferent
Cupiosexual (aka Kalossexual): ... and does desire to engage in sexual behavior/relationships
Caedsexual: ... due to, or influenced by, past trauma of any kind
Someone who experiences sexual attraction only...
Fraysexual: ... towards those that they are not deeply connected to
Autosexual: ... or primarily towards oneself

Someone who does experience sexual attraction... ***
Mollsexual: ... weakly
Aceflexible: ... occationally
Lithosexual (aka Akoisexual): ... and it vanishes or causes discomfort when reciprocated
Orchidsexual: ... and does not desire to engage in sexual behavior/relationships
aceflexible and orchidsexual are visibly on the edge of the ace spectrum
there is one identity visibly completely outside of the spextrum:
Allosexual****: Someone who regularly experiences sexual attraction
there is an umbrella below the scale with two identities under it and one on the right on the edge of it
it says Aceflux: Someone whose sexual orientation fluctuates but generally stays on the asexual spectrum
from left to right:
Acespike: ... occasionally durring rare, sudden, and intense spikes
Adexsexual: ... when alone
the identity on the edge:
Acejump: ...and occasionally has rare, sudden, and intense spikes of total asexuality
(this also falls under the "someone who does experience sexual attraction***" umbrella)
* This is an imperfect and incomplete visualization - Sexuality is complex
** There is debate to whether requisexual should only be used by neurodivergent or disabled a-specs, or if it should be open to neurotypical and able-bodied a-specs as well
*** There is not community consensus as to whether or not these identities fall under the asexual umbrella or if they belong on the allosexual spectrum, and they are typically welcomed in ace-spaces & communities
**** Allosexuality is not considered part of the ace spectrum - and in fact, is a spectrum in and of itself
There are even more ace spectrum identities
