Saw #OneBattleAfterAnother not sure it's a P.T. masterpiece but it's tense, entertaining, dark humor, political. Nice tribute 2 #adamsomner after credits; those of us who had the honor of working w/ him would appreciate audio over image of him saying over radio, "Shut the fuck, up we're rolling."
I'm saddened to hear of Adam Somner's death. He was truly one of the great First AD's I got to work with during my career. We worked together on #therewillbeblood. Here Adam's pictured in a light moment on set with DP Robert Elswit, Adam on the left in blue shirt. He will be missed.

I was fortunate enough to watch this guy work up close on LICORICE PIZZA. I was unaware of his legendary status at the time, but boy was he impressive. So much energy. I can still hear his distinctive, "And....action, ACTION!"
