Connie Ferguson coming to Namibia
South African actress, filmmaker, producer and businesswoman Connie Ferguson is coming to Namibia to headline the FNB Namibia, City of Windhoek Business Summit Namibia 2025.
The summit will be held on 5 July at a local hotel in Windhoek, where the award-winning actress will share her powerful journey of resilience, business growth and trailblazing success.
Martin Nankela, the founder and executive director of The Business Summit Namibia says the event is the country’s premier platform for entrepreneurs, professionals and aspiring business leaders.
Nankela says Ferguson is headlining the event because she embodies what it means to build an authentic African brand with global impact.
“As an actress, entrepreneur, and founder of Ferguson Films, her journey speaks to resilience, excellence and vision. In Namibia, she will deliver a keynote address, sharing insights into building a successful enterprise in Africa’s creative economy. Her presence is not just symbolic – it’s catalytic. She brings wisdom and practical lessons that can empower local entrepreneurs to dream and build bigger,” Nankela says.
He says while the summit is proudly rooted in Namibia, it reflects the broader African narrative of self-reliance, excellence and possibility.
Nankela says having Ferguson at the event reaffirms that greatness is achievable when vision meets execution.
