Screenshot of my Windows task manager showing the utilization of my Intel i9-149000K CPU: Only the fist 16 logical processors get some CPU load, the other 16 are just idling. Utilization therefore is around 20-30% while rendering.

This is how it looks when After Effects is rendering. It’s a small miracle that it outputs anything at all with that shoddy threading.
Meanwhile, when ffmpeg gets to town, all cores are close to 100% throughout and things GET DONE 🤣
