I've been accepted to give a talk at a software testing conference. There's a link in the acceptance email which I need to click to confirm my participation.
That link results in a 500 internal server error 😂

I tried to financially support a friend via ko-fi and picked the amount 13.12€ for fun.
This worked until I paid with paypal, which showed the amount of 1€.
Turns out that as soon as the amount isn't just Euros but also Eurocent something in the workflow reverts the amount to 1€

Yesterday I tried to perform a task in our software which the customers also do, relying only on our documentation.
Results:
- Found broken links, inconsistencies and contradicting information in the documentation
- Three hours later I was not a single step closer to my goal

I don't get how Google Mail needs over 1 GB of free space on my phone to sync mails with my mail server.
As soon as there's less free space the sync stops without even an error message.
I don't even have that many mails!

My Twitter account has been unused for a long time and I finally decided to delete all my old posts as well.
Turns out removing too many of them will break the Web UI. The statistic on my profile page states that there's over 20.000 posts but I can't see any of them 🤬

Today I learned that the developers on my team implemented a feature that requires two actions to work. In unit test everything works perfectly.
The product where the feature is used has two client applications. Each implements only one of the actions, so the feature is unusable

Some days I'm really proud of my coworkers.
I would never have expected them to be able to mess up displaying the current date in our product and yet here we are with the product showing "2024-06-09" as the current date.

Bluesky supports adding alt text to pictures in posts, it even has a setting to make alt text mandatory before posting. Now the ability to add gifs to posts is introduced - but no way to add alt text to them.
Make it make sense!?!

Discovered an interesting Bluesky behavior today. If I remove one of my skeets which is linked somewhere else and I then open the link, the "you have blocked the author or are blocked by them" page is shown.
How can I block myself?!
