- walked a teammate through internal process & how to share it with a sales prospect

Actual #AltLegal thing that happened today. A #TeamClio colleague reached out. "@teresamatich said you might have thoughts for this blog post." 1/2 hour later. "Okay, now I have enough content for three blog posts."
Busy #AltLegal day. First was an interview with @CanLawMag on an upcoming @goClio announcement. Next was advising Product #TeamClio colleagues on trust accounting compliance with an upcoming feature. All this and WFH parenting before my morning coffee.
I helped #TeamClio colleagues today with CDD questions as they relate to publicly-traded law firms. There are none in the U.S. However, @goClio is not just supporting law firms in America.
Law is global, build for the whole world.

So much of the #altlegal role is data classification. Take these 6 disparate tables with radically different use cases and create a single unifying level that connects them all. (One of the best parts of the job. Honestly.)

Part of my role as Lawyer in Residence and #DPO has been to help maintain @goclio’s terms of service and privacy policy. It’s part of the #AltLegal gig.
