The last #gencon I attended in Milwaukee…I bought the black cover preview edition of #Alternity i sold it somewhere along the line..this weekend I found a cache @halfpricebooks.bsky.social and bought back in.
In personal history, I wouldn’t attend Gencon for another 5 years after this.

Two concurrent and parallel campaigns, set in the Planescape and Star•Drive settings, as those settings slowly merge. Play-by-post, probably on #MythWeavers, extra-long recruitment period because of the OOP system and settings.

I bought the #Alternity starter box because I had no idea what it was, it looked rad, and promised a game inside somehow; I tried to make my poor Aunt play.
A rollercoaster of RPG/card/board fandom since then, even if I rarely-if-ever get to play any tabletop. I still collect because it is happy.
