This was Lily Papers Library’s book club pick and such a perfect moody, gothic read for spring. Loved the dark academia vibes, sea-soaked atmosphere, and slow unraveling of truth. So I just had to add a page in my journal.

April 2025 reading wrap-up 10 books read across 4,130 pages, given an average rating of 4.28 stars The highest rated reads were A Hero Born by Jin Young, Heavenly Tyrant by Xiran Jay Zhao, and Catalyst Gate by Megan O'Keefe Average book length was 452 pages with an average finish time of 3 days. Out of the books read, 100% was fiction, with most popular genres in descending order being Science Fiction, Fantasy, Young Adult, Contemporary, and Thriller. The remaining two charts show pages ready per day and that 100% of books read this month were print editions.
