Teenager Killed, One Injured in Early Morning Shooting in Atmore Atmore, AL (BuzzReport) - A shooting early Tuesday morning has resulted in the death of a 17-year-old and injured another person, according to the Atmore Police Department. The incident occurred on Carver Avenue near 18th Avenue, where officers found dozens of spent shell casings. Police were called to Atmore Community Hospital around 1:50 a.m. after receiving reports of gunshot victims. Upon investigation, officers determined that the teenager had succumbed to their injuries, while the second person had non-life-threatening injuries and was flown to a trauma center.
