Taking the bait: research uncovers mice, echidnas, go for fox and cat bait Research published by CSIRO and Deakin University tracked 1080 bait interactions.

Researchers have put 1080 baiting to the test, with field cameras showing 88 per cent of bait interactions were with non-target, native, species.
